"The best thing about me is you." Shannon Crown

Is it wrong that everytime the weatherman says there may be sprinkles, that I think of cupcake sprinkles falling from the sky? Yep, pink, orange, yellow, blue, and green sprinkles falling on a cupcake world. Weird, maybe...do I care? No.

Yesterday I came home and cleaned the living room...for like the 800th time this year. How in the world can the living room get so freaking cluttered?! Arg! No, I am not a pirate, but I am pretty sure that is the noise I have in my head right now...so there ya go.

I got a pile of papers graded. By pile, I mean pile. It is pretty serious. The pile was at LEAST 6 inches tall. Ridiculous. Now I have to enter them in the computer. Fun fun. I think that it would be interesting if parents could see how much work we do at home. I mean, it was my day off yesterday, yet I spent 4 hours at work getting ready for the week and then I spent about 1.5 hours at home grading papers. On my day-off. Awesome. I love my job, but sometimes I wish that I didn't have so much to do at home. I think Mr. S. wishes that, too.

Mr. S. hates his job right now. Hates is a strong word...he is unhappy though. I am trying to do all I can to make this an easier time for him, but I don't know what else to do. I think that just trying to make the house a happier place is the best that I can do at the moment. We diffuse about our days when we get home while I am cooking dinner we usually stand in the kitchen and hash it all out, and then the rest of the night we try not to talk about it. I usually just share funny stories about my third graders (because Lord knows they are hilarious!) and we have fun. I just hate that he feels like this about work. I mean, it's a place he has to go to everyday. Who wants to be miserable everyday? Not me.

Okay, I rambled on more than I thought I would. I really thought I would quickly post about sprinkles falling from the sky....welp, I guess I had a lot to get off my mind. So, there ya go. Have a lovely day!

I would be extremely happy if actual sprinkles fell from the sky! Tell Mr. S I hope things get better.

Sorry your dh is not enjoying work right now. At least with teaching you get to start fresh every year. I had the BEST year last year and this year, not as good. I knew last year was a special group of kids and I enjoyed every minute of them. Oh if I could have them back!
