Happy News!

I am in a super good mood! I have been worried about getting daycare arranged for the baby. Everyone I called was booked or not taking more infants. I didn't know what I was going to do. I put myself on one lady's waiting list because I had heard great things about her. Then there was another one that I heard was going to contact me, but I was not as interested in her after feeling like I was blown off in past conversations. Anywho, last night I got a call from the lady I really like and she has an opening! Mr. S. and I are going to meet with her next week to see if we both like her and to see her house. I can't wait! The stress of daycare could be done within the next week! Who know that a babysitter for an unborn child could be this big of a headache?!

We ordered Parker's crib last night, which is awesome! It should be here sometime next week. That will help me start to get his room together. I can't wait!

Oh, and my mom ordered the travel system for us! She is going to give it to me at my baby shower in November. Yay!!!
After seeing our friends and their newborn Sunday, the reality of Mr. S. and I having a baby is setting in for me. I mean, I watch him move around and feel him kick, but then I have to remember he comes out to be taken care of here in a few months. I know I can't wait to meet him though. This whole "being a mom" thing has me pretty excited!

I am 21 weeks 3 days today! The time is flying by so quickly!

And we are having a...

...BOY! Our ultrasound yesterday went really well and we found out almost as soon as we got in there what the baby's gender is. Mr. S. is super excited! I love seeing his reaction to things that have to do with this pregnancy. It is really genuine and it makes me really glad that we waited until we were really ready to have a baby.

My mom was there yesterday, too. It was great to have her with us. She was so excited to actually see her grandchild on the ultrasound. After we got done, we of course went shopping. We bought a bunch of really cute outfits and Mr. S. had to buy the "perfect teddy bear". It's huge and super soft. That was the one thing that he said the baby had to have yesterday. I think it's sweet.

So, Baby Parker will join us in January. Now it is time for mommy start planning! I have lots of things to get done now!!

Oh, and one of Mr. S.'s best friends and his wife gave birth to their baby girl at midnight today. We are so excited to have kids close enough together they can be playmates...or get married! Haha! I can't wait to go meet her!

It's been a great baby week so far!

Tomorrow is THE day!

Baby S. will have a gender tomorrow! I can't wait for tomorrow afternoon so that I can finally know for sure what this baby is. My mom is going to come up to go to the dr. with Mr. S. and I. She really wants to see the ultrasound and go shopping. I hope the rest of today passes quickly and that I can get plenty of sleep tonight.

Mr. S. is riding in the MS150 this weekend. He is on day 2 right now. Hopefully him and the rest of the team will finish within the next 3 hours, then it is on to dinner at one of my faves, and then relaxation time.

I think a nap is in order right now....

19 weeks!

Windows open, wind blowing into the house, 3 day weekend ahead of me, movie and Chinese with my husband tonight...perfect night tonight. I just want to relax and this is the perfect way to do it.

We've been in school for 3 weeks, and it is going really well. I enjoy my class, even the few stinkers I have. Fifth grade has been a breath of fresh air. I am enjoying the change.

Baby S. is now at 19 weeks. How CRAZY!! My baby bump has definitely made an appearance!
I have really enjoyed the pregnancy over the past couple of weeks. It is just such a great experience to feel the baby move and flutter around.

We find out what this little baby in 9 days!!! I can't hardly wait for Sept. 13! What a wonderful day it will be!

I hope you all have a beautiful weekend and get outside and enjoy it!
