Student Fun for the Day
  • Pink slip given to a child at 8:20am because of coloring yellow in his desk (because he hates writing, mind you)
  • Another student putting hand sanitizer in his hair because "someone said it will keep my head from getting cold. I just wanted to test it out." Yep. Thanks. Who can make that up?

What am I up to?
  • Dinner with the husband tonight...yay for Mexican!
  • Lesson planning and grading papers at school...ick
  • Baby shower with my wonderful friend and fellow-blogger, Yeah, Except for NOT
  • Hanging out with me, myself, and I on Saturday night...woo!

So, all in all, nothing too horrible. I am freezing cold...ick. I am ready for some dinner!

Lol about the hand sanitizer. You would not believe some of the dumb stuff my 7th graders do!

I am jelly you get to have mexican tonight. We had frozen pizza.

I brought some school work home this weekend (I rarely do that), but I am getting a smartboard put in my classroom and I want to get things transferred to that software.

Hope your dinner was great. Now I am craving mexican. ;)

We did Mexican tonight, too! Love the school stories. My crazy story of teaching is when a first grader stuck his carrots down the sink in the boys bathroom...and then his mom sent ME parenting books of the "Youngest Child Syndrome" saying that I needed to learn to deal with him better. I said, "No need for the books-I married the youngest of five...They are called comedians, and carrots in the sink cost the school too much money to be funny."
