"Save it for a rainy day." Proverb

I am so tired...Mr. S. and I went to class this morning at the gym. I love having weekdays off. I am pretty sure I could be a stay-at-home wife at this point. Ya know, if we didn't have a mortgage payment and all! I love working out in the morning/early afternoon. It makes me more motivated, that's for sure. So yeah, we went to class and went to Subway for lunch. MMM!

Tomorrow is back to school. And we are starting the week with our standardized testing...yeah, a 5 day break and then testing. Awesome, right? Ick. No good. So this should be interesting. Trying to get my third graders back into the swing of things with testing beginning 30 minutes after they get back to school. One of the parents is bringing in fresh fruit for their snack tomorrow, yum!

My animals are all really cute right now. Truman has his head laying in my lap and he is napping and the cat is positioned on the arm of the couch with her eyes half-open. Awww...they are so cute (when they are sleeping!).

Alrighty, enough mindless update for me. Have a wonderful rest of your Monday!

(Have you seen the Burger King commercial with the Baby Got Back song, but it is about square butts? Catchy, yet weird. Yeah.)

"A change will do you good." Sheryl Crow

I have been to the gym, let's see, a total of 4 times this week? Each time I went I ran 3 miles.
Okay, ran might not be the right word for it...I combined running and walking for 3 miles. I would love to be able to run a full 3 miles and not stop. About.com has a great plan for traning that I should start following next week. I am a person that needs an ultimate goal to train for so that all the work seems worth it. Yep. Thanks to yourwishcake (Click on the name to go to her blog!) for the thoughts here. If you have not checked out her fun and quirky blog, you should!

I bought The Biggest Loser Cookbook. I have yet to cook from it, but I have made a grocery list and I am ready to go.

I am laying here on my couch with my dog (See, after he wakes up to go to the bathroom REALLY early of a morning, he won't sleep back in his crate. If I put him in there, he whines and barks, and I feel HORRIBLE because our roomie is sleeping. So...I get up. Sometimes it is 6am, like today. Most days it is somewhere between 4:45 and 5:30. I try to tell Mr. S. I am just conditioning for having a baby someday. Haha! The only way that the dog will let me get any extra amount of sleep is if we lay on the couch. Now, if we get home at like midnight from our friends' houses, then 5am is TOO early for me to want to be awake, and I need extra beauty sleep on the couch. Mr. S. is tired of not waking up together. I am tired of not sleeping in my bed. Someday. Someday.

I need some breakfast. My tummy is rumbling. But first, a nap.

"But my breath fogged up the glass, so I drew a new face and I laughed..." Jason Mraz

Mr. S. got our gym membership temporarily worked out for us to go as guests for the next 7 days until they get the trade worked out with his company. He called me and told me early this afternoon that if I wanted to go that I could....so I pulled on my sweats and tennis shoes, grabbed my new iPod, and out the door I went. I went and did 3 miles...wow! I haven't been in about a month...and 3 miles! Goodness! I can't wait to go tomorrow!

New Year's Eve get together here at our house tomorrow night. We usually have our friends over, I make tons of different dips, and we play board games and Wii. Turns out to be a great night...oh, and drinks! Yum! I can't wait to have everyone over tomorrow night!

Speaking of which, I need to get the house cleaned up....why does the house never stay clean? Serisouly, I just cleaned it Monday. MONDAY! Really....I need it to stay clean.

I found a great site to take care of all the books I read. It is called http://www.goodreads.com. It is free, you can write reviews, and read other people's reviews. It's pretty awesome!
