Summer is where the girls go barefoot and their hearts are just as free as their toes.

School is out and I am now hoping to return to a normal blogging schedule. I can't keep doing 1 month between my blogs. That isn't a good thing at all...

School is out and I am done with third grade. I am moving onto 5th grade after this summer, and I have to say that I am super nervous but really excited all at the same time. It is good to have a whole summer off. Due to the summer school funding being questioned up until last minute, our school cut back on summer school. They are still having it, but it is limited. It may not even go on because of the lack of participation from requested students. We'll see. But because of this, I am not going to teach summer school this summer. This is probably the first year since I have started in the work force (around 15 1/2) that I have NOT worked. I am slightly afraid of getting bored, but something tells me that I will have plenty to do.

Vacation is coming up in the next week and I am super excited about this. Heading to the Keys for a week of relaxation! My friends are going with Mr. S. and I. There are 5 of us going and then we will meet up here and there with friends that have moved down to FL. I am super excited to see everyone and to hang out all day relaxing.

This summer is going to be relaxing. I can't wait to get things done around the house that need to be done! That is the most exciting thing to me. Once we are back from vacay, I am making my list of things to get done! WOO!

Wow, a whole summer with nothing to do? I'm thinking you will stay plenty busy. Have fun on your trip!

I am so jealous that you are done. My last day is two weeks from this Friday and I am dying here. ;) The kids are pretty much driving me crazy. Can't wait for summer break.
