The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows. ~Sydney J. Harris

I am such a slacker, I apologize. Today is the 7th day of school and I am exhausted already. Awesome. I am not sure how to describe this year yet. I mean, the kids are a difficult bunch when it comes to discipline. They are not all about following directions, so that is what we are really working on still. What I do like are their personalities....well, most of them, I guess. The majority of them are very creative and are very different. I have a couple that really just stick out and I am very impressed with this year...so hopefully that continues.
I will definitely have some stories this year. That's how interesting some of my kiddos are. I can tell you that I have already heard a story about smoking balls...a kid telling me about the Pink Panther movie. Yep...maybe shouldn't tell your teacher a story about smoking balls. I'm just sayin'. Because it definitely isn't a sports ball he was talking about...

I have yet to take a photo of the classroom. I will do that this morning. My camera has definitely been in my bag, but I have not taken photos.
Life at the home has been crazy lately. A lot of family craziness...blah. I don't have the time or energy to write about it right now.

I have got to get ready for work! I just glanced at the time...ah! More later!

School is exhausting, isn't it? I hope whatever is going on in life right now sorts itself out. Can't wait to see photos!

Awesome quote! I am exhausted after my first day back and I didn't even have kids! My room is really shaping up and I will take photos today. Can't wait to see what your room looks like.

We had a really large 7th grade class last year and were supposed to have less kids this year. On registration 24 new 7th graders registered and now we have 1 more kid than 8th grade. There is also an overload of boys. God help me if they are like last year's boys! Hope you whip them into shape soon.
