**Edit**
I want to add in that I know that the auto industry needs money. I promise I do. I just got frustrated. I know people that work there. I just want to say that they need to balance some things out in the world. I am so sorry if I offended anyone. I was highly upset at the time.

Thanks for all the lovely comments over the past couple days...that felt awesome to see 7! Wee! I needed that this week, that's for sure.
I took the dog to obedience class by myself last night. If you need a laugh, you should probably go on the nights I am there without the husband. That might be the best time to see some funny stuff. For example, we started out with the helpful Halti (which the instructor hates, but it is the only thing I can control him with) and Truman decided he was done working 5 minutes in because he hates the thing. I took it off and he about ripped my arm off and he would do NOTHING. I was exhausted when I got home. After he jerked me around the room, wouldn't sit, tried to make friends with everyone and everydog....it was just...the longest night ever.
Bombshell at work yesterday: One we knew about, our Superintendent is retiring. The one we didn't know, our principal is leaving after this year to stay at home with her baby. She just isn't happy being without her little one. Sad days for us, but yay for her!

Aww sorry dog training was so hard but it will be worth it!
Wow! That does sound like a tough couple of days. I hate hearing about the teacher situation too. It sucks!
(Did you see Marley and Me? Is that what it is like for you?) LOL
I understand your frustration being a former teacher. AnD I am married to a guy in the automotive world-so I see the issues on both sides.
The one scary thing about the automotive world colapsing is that all the suppliers to the domestic autos. also supply to the foreign auto companies. (That would be where my husband fits in...) If the domestic go belly up, the world economy will be headed that way as well because the suppliers can't stay in business for any of them-no money. I am irritated with the big three too, but the people to be hurt by not giving out a bail-out are all the little guys-the suppliers, the tool and die shop around the corner, the guy on the line...It literally could colapse the entire country's economy...and potentially the world economy. So, the auto. world does need the money.
Did I totally irritate you? That was not my intention-as a teacher (who might need a job soon because my husband's auto job is drying up-)this is a really scary time for our family. There are no auto jobs to be had and no teaching jobs in Michigan either. Both places stink to be in...
I hope this weekend you can rest up-I remember those days of mental exhaustion and physical exhaustion from teaching full-time!
Agreed on the teaching thing!
